Karen wasn't sure how she felt about this "television" business anymore. The life she did remember she wasn't really in, and there was a woman with her face with a tv show she didn't remember about a woman who had lost her memory.

Right.

Arguing Buffy moments with Andrew was much less confusing.

Benefits to being a fictional-fictional character: She had a completely fresh start, House couldn't remember anything she'd told him, Cuddy wasn't her boss anymore, and as a matter of fact no one was her boss anymore, no one knew her 'backstory', and she now knew more about House than she had ever thought she would.

Cons to being a fictional-fictional character: House couldn't remember her at all, most of her friends were not really part of the world and so most of the people she knew didn't exist now, and she now knew more about House than she had ever really wanted to know.

She tossed the dvd boxes into a wastebasket and plopped down on the couch with a beer, content to stare at the blank screen. At least blank screens didn't make you feel all awkward about situations outside of your control, or like you were going to contract breast cancer at any moment.

She took a long swig and laid her head back against the couch. If this had been her world, House would've been barging in any second now.

Damn, the place really had revolved around him.
